Attractively set on the lower, south facing slopes of old Skala, with
panoramic views that
encompass Skala’s wide bay the island of Zante, Villa Eboros was
originally, the home of a
wealthy merchant. The villa has been beautifully rebuilt, in a style
that reflects the homes
of the original village, whilst offering today’s guests every modern
convenience. Air-conditioning
and satellite T.V. are just one example of the facilities guests can
expect to enjoy at this superb villa.
Built on two floors to allow for the contour of the hillside, the design
means that those superb
views grace every window and door in the villa. Both bedrooms with
their respective en-suite shower rooms
are on the first floor, with a short flight of stairs providing the link to
the kitchen, lounge
and dining area. Two sets of french windows lead out onto a wide,
tiled terrace, which is where
you will find that wonderful infinity-edged swimming pool. Similar to
many of our with other villas
in this area, all the rooms have doors that open out onto a terrace,
so that you can take in the
breath-taking views and surrounding country side. With its stylish
design, magnificent views and excellent
facilities we believe that Villa Eboros will be a popular choice for
many and will also attract guests
back to stay for many years to come.

Villa Emelisse is a stunning family home, perched high on the upper slopes of Old Skala, Kefalonia, superbly constructed to take advantage of the breathtaking 180 degree panorarmic views over the Ionian Sea to the island of Zante and to the Greek mainland beyond.

Set on the gentle lower slopes between the original village of Old
Skala
and the resort of Skala in a quiet enclave
with just a handful of other private houses, Laura benefits from a
slightly
elevated position, which enhances its
views and adds to its seclusion. Built to resemble the ancient stone
cottages that formed the old village, villa
Laura is a tribute to modern architecture, in its ability to blend styles
and materials to produce a harmonious
home. Vaulted, exposed pine beamed ceilings create bright and
airy rooms,
whilst the use of stone, wrought iron
and warm fabrics create a sense of comfort and well being. The
interior
space is divided by split levels with a
short flight of seven steps between the twin bedroom at entrance
level and
the open-plan lounge, dining and
kitchen areas. Three sets of wide patio doors lead out to an
expansive sun
terrace, perfect for long lazy hours of
relaxation or enjoying an "al-fresco" meal from the adjacent
barbecue. The
focus of attention however, right from
the moment of arrival, is that irresistible, crystal clear, infinity-edged
swimming pool and beyond that, the "feast"
of a view. The two attractive, well appointed bedrooms will ensure
many
comfortable and restful nights of sleep,
with the added benefit of air-conditioning for those sultry August
nights.

tranquil "home from home" offering relaxed holiday living, yet with
beaches, tavernas and nightlife, just a short
taxi ride, or drive away.Set on the gentle lower slopes between the original village of Old

Villa Leonidas is an impressive, contemporary and spacious family home. Perched high on the mountain above Skala, it enjoys extraordinary panoramic sea and mountain views.

It is not difficult to see why Lourdas has become one of the most
popular
beach resorts on the south coast. Clinging
to the shoulder of mount Ainos, whose comforting bulk shelters it
from
inclement weather and whose lower slopes
provide a marvellous vantage point from which to enjoy panoramic
sea views.
Views which extend over the Ionian
sea, to the east, where the island of Zante crouches on the horizon,
whilst
to the west, the craggy outline of the
Liakas peninsula marks the end of the bay. The area has a number
of
excellent beaches, often with a choice of
tavernas or bars right on the water's edge, ranging from Lourdas'
own to
neighbouring Kanali and Trepazaki.

We are therefore delighted now, to be able to offer a pair of nearly
identical, quality three bedroom villas, each with
their own private swimming pool and garden, hidden amongst the
lush
vegetation above the Ionian Sun hotel
complex on Loudas beach. Ionian Beach and the neighbouring
Ionian Sands
have the added advantage of being
managed and maintained by the hotel. This is great for those who
want the
complete seclusion and privacy of their
own villa, but may, occasionally want to socialise around the hotel's
swimming pool and bar terrace or use other
hotel facilities. Access to the villa, form its own private driveway, is
along a short pathway and up a short flight of
steps to the front door, from where you can either enter the house, or
follow the paved walk-way around to the
sunbathing terrace and raised, shaded "wrap around" veranda,
overlooking a
marvellous free-form, infinity-edged
swimming pool that appears to flow off through the pine trees to the
sea
below. Surrounded by mature gardens and
dense vegetation, Ionian Beach is extremely secluded and is not
overlooked,
adding to the sense of oasis-like
tranquillity. On entering the cool interior of the lounge, dining and
kitchen area, your attention is immediately drawn
to the homely and comfortable nature of quality fittings and
furnishings. A
number of thoughtful touches and
attention to detail will ensure that you relax immediately into your
holiday. The lounge and dining area has large
sliding patio doors out to a raised, shaded veranda for "al fresco"
dining,
which not only overlooks the pool, but has
stunning sea views. The kitchen has everything needed to provide a
gourmet
meal and should you happen to find
yourself behind the sink, then a perfectly placed window with a view
will
instantly revive you. Just along from the
lounge and dining area, is a bright and cosy en-suite twin bedroom,
complete with doors out to the shaded veranda
and pool. Upstairs are two attractive, well appointed en-suite
bedrooms
with private balconies and sea views. The
double is worthy of special mention, as it boasts the unusual
feature of a
corner bath, again with a window that
allows you to shower with superb sea views. Ionian Beach together
with its
neighbour Ionian Sands are a great
choice for a group of friends or families who want to be close to
each
other, yet still have a degree of independence.
For occasions when it is required, an intimate, wooded pathway
links the
gardens of both properties.

own villa, but may, occasionally want to socialise around the hotel's
swimming pool and bar terrace or use other
hotel facilities. Access to the villa, form its own private driveway, is
along a short pathway and up a short flight of
steps to the front door, from where you can either enter the house, or
follow the paved walk-way around to the
sunbathing terrace and raised, shaded "wrap around" veranda,
overlooking a
marvellous free-form, infinity-edged
swimming pool that appears to flow off through the pine trees to the
sea
below. Surrounded by mature gardens and
dense vegetation, Ionian Beach is extremely secluded and is not
overlooked,
adding to the sense of oasis-like
tranquillity. On entering the cool interior of the lounge, dining and
kitchen area, your attention is immediately drawn
to the homely and comfortable nature of quality fittings and
furnishings. A
number of thoughtful touches and
attention to detail will ensure that you relax immediately into your
holiday. The lounge and dining area has large
sliding patio doors out to a raised, shaded veranda for "al fresco"
dining,
which not only overlooks the pool, but has
stunning sea views. The kitchen has everything needed to provide a
gourmet
meal and should you happen to find
yourself behind the sink, then a perfectly placed window with a view
will
instantly revive you. Just along from the
lounge and dining area, is a bright and cosy en-suite twin bedroom,
complete with doors out to the shaded veranda
and pool. Upstairs are two attractive, well appointed en-suite
bedrooms
with private balconies and sea views. The
double is worthy of special mention, as it boasts the unusual
feature of a
corner bath, again with a window that
allows you to shower with superb sea views. Ionian Beach together
with its
neighbour Ionian Sands are a great
choice for a group of friends or families who want to be close to
each
other, yet still have a degree of independence.

links the
gardens of both properties.

Ionian Beach is a beautiful villa, set in an elevated position on a hillside, nestling amongst the trees, directly overlooking Lourdas beach and just a short distance from the sea.

We are therefore delighted now, to be able to offer a pair of nearly
identical, quality three bedroom villas, each with
their own private swimming pool and garden, hidden amongst the
lush
vegetation above the Ionian Sun hotel
complex on Lourdas beach. Ionian Sands and the neighbouring
Ionian Beach
have the added advantage of being
managed and maintained by the hotel. This is great for those who
want the
complete seclusion and privacy of their

villas that hug the upper contours of Old Skala. Skill fully executed,

Taking its name from the Greek word for a threshing circle, an
activity that was originally practiced
nearby, Villa Aloni has a number of themed features, which reflect
that time honoured tradition.
Nestling amongst the olive and wild oak trees, this villa has been
cleverly designed with a semi-circular
terrace and attractive curved swimming pool to reflect the threshing
circles of former times.
Built over two levels, the bedrooms are next to each other on the
upper floor however, the contour of the
hillside, means that all rooms have doors out onto a terrace from
which to admire the views. From the
terrace of the master double bedroom, there is also a convenient
set of steps leading straight
down to the pool - ideal for that early morning swim.
With a south facing pool, the terrace outside the lounge/dining area
faces east and is a superb spot
for admiring sunrise through the early morning haze and enjoying a
sun-drenched al-fresco breakfast.
The furnishings and decoration inside follow a rustic theme which
works well with the exposed stone
walls and wooden beams in the cottage. The focal point of this
cottage is definitely that remarkable
semi-circular infinity swimming pool, which provides the ideal
location for hours of idle relaxation,
whilst perhaps contemplating the evening’s options of a barbecue,
or maybe wandering down to sample
one of Skala’s many tavernas with their bright lights twinkling in the
distance below.

Villa Aethera is a bright, spacious stone-clad cottage, perched on the shoulder of the mountain above the resort of Skala with superb panoramic sea views.

Spartia is a quaint, picturesque village lodged between the folds of
gently
rolling, verdant hills that makes up the Liakas Peninsula. Blessed
with
charm, character and charisma the village has a couple of of
tavernas,

As you leave the village on the beach road, a rough, narrow farm

A number of striking features materialise as you approach. Bold

The focal point of this
cottage is definitely that remarkable
semi-circular infinity swimming pool, which provides the ideal
location for hours of idle relaxation,
whilst perhaps contemplating the evening’s options of a barbecue,
or maybe wandering down to sample
one of Skala’s many tavernas with their bright lights twinkling in the
distance below.

either enter the house, or follow the paved walk-way around to the

vegetation, Ionian

is not overlooked, adding to the sense of oasis-like tranquillity. On
entering the cool interior of the lounge, dining
and kitchen area, your attention is immediately drawn to the homely
and
comfortable nature of quality fittings and
furnishings. A number of thoughtful touches and attention to detail
will
ensure that you relax immediately into your
holiday. The lounge and dining area has large sliding patio doors
out to a
shaded veranda for "al fresco" dining,
which not only overlooks the pool, but has stunning sea views. The

gourmet meal and should you happen to find yourself behind the

is a

complete with doors out to the shaded veranda and pool.
Upstairs are two attractive, well appointed en-suite bedrooms with

Ionian Sands is a beautiful villa, set in an elevated position on a hillside, nestling amongst the trees, directly overlooking Lourdas beach and just a short distance from the sea.

Attractively set on the lower, south facing slopes of old Skala, with
panoramic views that
encompass Skala’s wide bay the island of Zante, Villa Eboros was
originally, the home of a
wealthy merchant. The villa has been beautifully rebuilt, in a style
that reflects the homes
of the original village, whilst offering today’s guests every modern
convenience. Air-conditioning
and satellite T.V. are just one example of the facilities guests can
expect to enjoy at this superb villa.
Built on two floors to allow for the contour of the hillside, the design
means that those superb
views grace every window and door in the villa. Both bedrooms with
their respective en-suite shower rooms
are on the first floor, with a short flight of stairs providing the link to
the kitchen, lounge
and dining area. Two sets of french windows lead out onto a wide,
tiled terrace, which is where
you will find that wonderful infinity-edged swimming pool. Similar to
many of our with other villas
in this area, all the rooms have doors that open out onto a terrace,
so that you can take in the
breath-taking views and surrounding country side. With its stylish
design, magnificent views and excellent
facilities we believe that Villa Eboros will be a popular choice for
many and will also attract guests
back to stay for many years to come.

Set on the gentle lower slopes between the original village of Old
Skala
and the resort of Skala in a quiet enclave
with just a handful of other private houses, Laura benefits from a
slightly
elevated position, which enhances its
views and adds to its seclusion. Built to resemble the ancient stone

Laura is a tribute to modern architecture, in its ability to blend styles
and materials to produce a harmonious
home. Vaulted, exposed pine beamed ceilings create bright and
airy rooms,
whilst the use of stone, wrought iron
and warm fabrics create a sense of comfort and well being. The
interior
space is divided by split levels with a
short flight of seven steps between the twin bedroom at entrance

the open-plan lounge, dining and
kitchen areas. Three sets of wide patio doors lead out to an
expansive sun
terrace, perfect for long lazy hours of

focus of attention however, right from
the moment of arrival, is that irresistible, crystal clear, infinity-edged

Perched on the shoulder of the mountain, Leonidas is a revered

superb, large, iridescent, infinity-edged swimming pool, extending
across
almost the entire frontage of the villa and an abundant terrace on
which to
soak up the sun and admire those arresting views over the Ionian

The use of contemporary design matched with traditional materials,
such as
stone, hardwood, leather and
wrought iron have been skilfully balanced to produce a bright, yet
cosy
home. Vaulted, exposed pine ceilings
add space and light with well placed windows and doors
completing the task.
One of the most striking features,
apart from those magnificent views, is the superb, wide sun terrace
bordering the large shimmering, infinity
edged swimming pool. As with all the villas in Old Skala, the
concept of
outdoor living is a key factor in the
layout of villa Pernari and as mentioned, a number of well placed
windows
and doors allow both easy access to
these areas and ensure that those captivating views are not
forgotten.
Entrance to the villa is up a short flight
of steps to the front door, which brings you directly into the open
plan,
kitchen and dining area. Adjacent, is a
modern lounge area with low level, inviting leather sofas around a
coffee
table and cosy fireplace. Three sets of
patio doors lead out to the pool terrace and "al-fresco" dining area.
Just
beyond the lounge, is a delightful twin
bedroom, with doors out to the pool terrace. Upstairs, a pair of
hexagons
host two, well appointed bedrooms,
a double and a twin, both with private balconies and sea view. Villa
Pernari is an absolute delight, and as one
would expect from a property designed by an architect, "it's damn
near
perfect"Pernari
Clinging to the lower contours of Old Skala, in a well exposed
position
facing south, Pernari is part of just a small
cluster of quality villas that make up this privileged community.
Tucked in
amongst the wild, cork oak trees, this
home is a real tribute to the architects skill. The "beehive" inspired
pattern, of joining two hexagonal shaped
structures together, creates the ideal shape to take advantage of the
sunlight and those breath-taking views.

Pernari is a wonderfully designed, rustic chic, stone cottage perched on the lower slopes above Skala, with extraordinary panoramic sea views.

The hillside on which the villa is located, is at the head of a valley in
an
area
known as Ratzakli. To the west is
the laid back beach resort of Katelios with a good selection of fish
tavernas on the water's edge. To the
east, bordering several kilometres of sandy beach, is the more
cosmopolitan
resort of Skala. Right in
the middle, between these two coastal towns and just below villa
Stafida, is
the renowned turtle
nesting beach of Mounda or Kaminia.

Tucked in amongst the wild olive and cypress trees, close to Old
Skala,
Villa Stafida is an oasis of calm
and decadent indulgence. First impressions as you approach the
property is
that it is more of a mansion
than a holiday home. Your attention, although distracted by the view,
is
soon drawn to the large infinity
edged swimming pool, surrounded by an expanse of terrace with
accommodating
sun loungers just
waiting to welcome you. A wide shaded veranda with comfortable
sofas, whose
cushions just seem to
be inviting you to sink in, runs the full width of the villa.

Designed and built in a fashion that effortlessly blends traditional
stone
facades with ultra modern, cool
interiors, the villa will appeal to those seeking a high degree of
comfort
and style. The lounge, kitchen
and dining areas are open plan, with a stunning Italian designed,
kitchen
with black granite work tops
as the focal point at the centre of the villa. Three sets of sliding patio
doors lead out to the shaded
veranda, pool terrace and outdoor "al fresco" dining area. The low
level,
white lounge suite is at the far
end, again with easy access to the outside and with great views
from the
entire room.

All four tastefully furnished bedrooms are upstairs. They all face the
sea
and have been cleverly designed
so that the beds in each room face the balcony doors and the view
beyond.

features of these rooms are the high exposed pine beamed
ceilings and
individual balconies with

Villa Kristola is an enchanting and superbly designed modern home that commands spectacular panoramic views over rolling hills and Lourdas' glorious bay.

Pool heating is available at an extra charge.Taking its name from the Greek word for a threshing circle, an

The area of Ratzakli is a peaceful residential community located
between
the sleepy fishing village of Katelios with its beach-front
tavernas and the more quietly vibrant resort of Skala. Kaminia or
Mounda,
the island's major turtle nesting beach, is the stunning
backcloth of the spectacular panoramic views enjoyed from this
splendid villa.

Nestling between ancient olive and wild oak trees on the western
slopes,
bordering Old Skala, Caretta is a tribute to modern
standards of comfort and design. With its large infinity edged
swimming
pool, extending across almost the entire frontage of the
villa and an abundant terrace on which to soak up the sun and
admire the
views, it is hard to imagine a more perfect combination.

Inside, the villa continues to impress with open plan, comfortable
and well
equipped living space, matched by clean lines and pastel
coloured complimentary furnishings. The lounge and kitchen area
are
together in the centre of the villa, with patio doors leading out
to the shaded outdoor "al fresco" dining area. Off to the left hand
side is
a hexagonal shaped indoor dining area, again with patio
doors out to the swimming pool terrace. On the far right is the
ground
floor bedroom, which is great for anyone who does not like
steps and perhaps enjoys just being a few steps away from that
delightful
swimming pool.

Upstairs is again an inspiration, with three beautifully appointed
bedrooms. All have high exposed pine beamed ceilings with
individual
terraces or balconies and panoramic sea views. The master suite
is worthy
of special mention as its shaded, hexagonal shaped,
pavillion style private terrace, is the perfect vantage spot, from where
its fortunate occupants can chill out over a frosted glass of the
local Robola wine or catch up on that ubiquitous holiday novel !The area of Ratzakli is a peaceful residential community located

Entrance to the villa brings you into an open-plan kitchen area which

Villa Estiasi is an impressive, spacious family home set in an elevated position, high above the resort of Skala with breathtaking panoramic sea views.

It is not difficult to see why Lourdas has become one of the most
popular
beach resorts on the south coast. Clinging
to the shoulder of mount Ainos, whose comforting bulk shelters it
from
inclement weather and whose lower slopes
provide a marvellous vantage point from which to enjoy panoramic
sea views.
Views which extend over the Ionian
sea, to the east, where the island of Zante crouches on the horizon,
whilst
to the west, the craggy outline of the
Liakas peninsula marks the end of the bay. The area has a number
of
excellent beaches, often with a choice of
tavernas or bars right on the water's edge, ranging from Lourdas'
own to
neighbouring Kanali and Trepazaki.

We are therefore delighted now, to be able to offer a pair of nearly
identical, quality three bedroom villas, each with
their own private swimming pool and garden, hidden amongst the
lush
vegetation above the Ionian Sun hotel
complex on Loudas beach. Ionian Beach and the neighbouring
Ionian Sands
have the added advantage of being
managed and maintained by the hotel. This is great for those who
want the
complete seclusion and privacy of their
own villa, but may, occasionally want to socialise around the hotel's
swimming pool and bar terrace or use other
hotel facilities. Access to the villa, form its own private driveway, is
along a short pathway and up a short flight of
steps to the front door, from where you can either enter the house, or
follow the paved walk-way around to the
sunbathing terrace and raised, shaded "wrap around" veranda,
overlooking a
marvellous free-form, infinity-edged
swimming pool that appears to flow off through the pine trees to the
sea
below. Surrounded by mature gardens and
dense vegetation, Ionian Beach is extremely secluded and is not
overlooked,
adding to the sense of oasis-like
tranquillity. On entering the cool interior of the lounge, dining and
kitchen area, your attention is immediately drawn
to the homely and comfortable nature of quality fittings and
furnishings. A
number of thoughtful touches and
attention to detail will ensure that you relax immediately into your
holiday. The lounge and dining area has large
sliding patio doors out to a raised, shaded veranda for "al fresco"
dining,
which not only overlooks the pool, but has
stunning sea views. The kitchen has everything needed to provide a
gourmet
meal and should you happen to find
yourself behind the sink, then a perfectly placed window with a view
will
instantly revive you. Just along from the
lounge and dining area, is a bright and cosy en-suite twin bedroom,
complete with doors out to the shaded veranda
and pool. Upstairs are two attractive, well appointed en-suite
bedrooms
with private balconies and sea views. The
double is worthy of special mention, as it boasts the unusual
feature of a
corner bath, again with a window that
allows you to shower with superb sea views. Ionian Beach together
with its
neighbour Ionian Sands are a great
choice for a group of friends or families who want to be close to
each
other, yet still have a degree of independence.

gardens of both properties.

Ionian Beach is a beautiful villa, set in an elevated position on a hillside, nestling amongst the trees, directly overlooking Lourdas beach and just a short distance from the sea.

Attractively set on the lower, south facing slopes of old Skala, with
panoramic views that
encompass Skala’s wide bay the island of Zante, Villa Eboros was
originally, the home of a
wealthy merchant. The villa has been beautifully rebuilt, in a style
that reflects the homes
of the original village, whilst offering today’s guests every modern
convenience. Air-conditioning
and satellite T.V. are just one example of the facilities guests can
expect to enjoy at this superb villa.
Built on two floors to allow for the contour of the hillside, the design
means that those superb
views grace every window and door in the villa. Both bedrooms with
their respective en-suite shower rooms
are on the first floor, with a short flight of stairs providing the link to
the kitchen, lounge
and dining area. Two sets of french windows lead out onto a wide,
tiled terrace, which is where
you will find that wonderful infinity-edged swimming pool. Similar to
many of our with other villas
in this area, all the rooms have doors that open out onto a terrace,
so that you can take in the
breath-taking views and surrounding country side. With its stylish
design, magnificent views and excellent
facilities we believe that Villa Eboros will be a popular choice for

An elegant tiered stone cottage, offering rustic ambience, easy comfort and captivating sea views, close to the resort of Scala.

The hillside on which the villa is located, is at the head of a valley in
an
area
known as Ratzakli. To the west is
the laid back beach resort of Katelios with a good selection of fish
tavernas on the water's edge. To the
east, bordering several kilometres of sandy beach, is the more
cosmopolitan
resort of Skala. Right in
the middle, between these two coastal towns and just below villa
Stafida, is
the renowned turtle
nesting beach of Mounda or Kaminia.

Tucked in amongst the wild olive and cypress trees, close to Old
Skala,
Villa Stafida is an oasis of calm
and decadent indulgence. First impressions as you approach the
property is
that it is more of a mansion
than a holiday home. Your attention, although distracted by the view,
is
soon drawn to the large infinity
edged swimming pool, surrounded by an expanse of terrace with
accommodating
sun loungers just
waiting to welcome you. A wide shaded veranda with comfortable
sofas, whose
cushions just seem to
be inviting you to sink in, runs the full width of the villa.

Designed and built in a fashion that effortlessly blends traditional
stone
facades with ultra modern, cool
interiors, the villa will appeal to those seeking a high degree of
comfort
and style. The lounge, kitchen
and dining areas are open plan, with a stunning Italian designed,
kitchen
with black granite work tops
as the focal point at the centre of the villa. Three sets of sliding patio
doors lead out to the shaded
veranda, pool terrace and outdoor "al fresco" dining area. The low
level,
white lounge suite is at the far
end, again with easy access to the outside and with great views
from the
entire room.

All four tastefully furnished bedrooms are upstairs. They all face the
sea
and have been cleverly designed
so that the beds in each room face the balcony doors and the view
beyond.

features of these rooms are the high exposed pine beamed

with traditional materials such as hardwood, chiselled stone,
marble and
wrought iron. The capacious lounge and dining area has large
sliding doors
that allow the light and view to flood in. A beautiful custom
made, open plan teak kitchen is equipped to satisfy the most
discerning
chef, or equally to provide bacon sandwiches for a morning after the
night
before ! Next to the lounge is an attractive bedroom, with direct
access
out to the terrace and swimming pool, which is handy for any one
who enjoys
a quick
dip in the pool before breakfast.A smart marble staircase leads up
to a
landing with a view ! Doors and windows lead straight out onto the
wide sun
terrace that adorns the front of the building, as do the two bedrooms
on
the first floor. Both of
these have their own private balconies as well. The fourth bedroom
is a
discreet annexe, set amidst the vineyard, in the garden just 15
metres from
the house. Self contained with its own en-suite and patio with the
same
delightful views.
Villa Minos is an exceptionally comfortable and well furnished
holiday home
that will become a firm favourite with visitors for many years to come.Minos
Spartia is a quaint, picturesque village lodged between the folds of
gently
rolling, verdant hills that makes up the Liakas Peninsula. Blessed
with
charm, character and charisma the village has a couple of of
tavernas,
a bakery and small shop or two. The surrounding area is also well
known
formany excellent, way side restaurants as well as beaches like
Trapezaki,
St.Thomas and Spartia as well as being close to the capital city of
Argostoli.
As you leave the village on the beach road, a rough, narrow farm
track
leads you through the cork oak and olive groves to the splendid villa
Minos.

A number of striking features materialise as you approach. Bold
colours
that really make the house stand out – yellow ochre painted walls
contrast
brightly with the rich burgundy tones of the louvered shutters, As
you arrive, the eye is drawn to the stunning, vibrant hues of the
striking
landscape. Clear blue sky, deep blue seas, sparkling clear water in
the
swimming pool, rich, green rural tranquillity and the dramatic, craggy
back-drop of Kefalonia’s Mount Ainos.

The large inviting swimming pool is surrounded by a wide paved
terrace
which is both secluded and open to those amazing views. The front
of the
house has a delightful shaded “wrap around” veranda, ideal
for “alfresco”
living and afternoon naps on a sun lounger !

Set on the gentle lower slopes between the original village of Old
Skala
and the resort of Skala in a quiet enclave
with just a handful of other private houses, Laura benefits from a
slightly
elevated position, which enhances its
views and adds to its seclusion. Built to resemble the ancient stone
cottages that formed the old village, villa
Laura is a tribute to modern architecture, in its ability to blend styles
and materials to produce a harmonious
home. Vaulted, exposed pine beamed ceilings create bright and
airy rooms,
whilst the use of stone, wrought iron
and warm fabrics create a sense of comfort and well being. The
interior
space is divided by split levels with a
short flight of seven steps between the twin bedroom at entrance
level and
the open-plan lounge, dining and
kitchen areas. Three sets of wide patio doors lead out to an
expansive sun
terrace, perfect for long lazy hours of
relaxation or enjoying an "al-fresco" meal from the adjacent
barbecue. The
focus of attention however, right from
the moment of arrival, is that irresistible, crystal clear, infinity-edged
swimming pool and beyond that, the "feast"
of a view. The two attractive, well appointed bedrooms will ensure
many
comfortable and restful nights of sleep,
with the added benefit of air-conditioning for those sultry August
nights.
Villa Laura is the ideal combination of a
tranquil "home from home" offering relaxed holiday living, yet with
beaches, tavernas and nightlife, just a short
taxi ride, or drive away.Set on the gentle lower slopes between the original village of Old

Clinging to the upper contours of Old Skala, in a well exposed
position
facing south, Ambeli is a member of just
a handful of quality villas that make up this exclusive commune.
Contemporary in design, traditional materials
such as stone, hardwood, wickerwork and wrought iron have been
skilfully
blended to create a bright and airy
home. Apart from those magnificent views, the most apparent,
striking
feature is the superb, wide sun terrace
bordering the large shimmering, infinity edged swimming pool. As
with all
the villas in Old Skala, the concept of
outdoor living is a key factor in the layout of villa Ambeli and a
number
of well placed windows and doors allow
both easy access to these areas and ensure that those captivating
views are
not forgotten. Entrance to the
villa brings you directly into the open plan, modern lounge area with
inviting sofas around a low coffee table
and 3 sets of patio doors leading out to the pool terrace and "al-
fresco"
dining area. To the left, the well
equipped kitchen has been neatly accommodated in its own alcove,
adjacent
to the dining area, which also
has doors out to the terrace. On the ground floor, is a delightful twin
bedroom, with yet again more sliding
patio doors out to the pool terrace. Upstairs are two, well appointed
bedrooms, a double and a twin, both
with private balconies and sea view. A nice touch is the way that the
double has been designed so that the
bed faces the balcony doors, bringing that fabulous view to the lucky
occupants. Ambeli is a pleasingly elegant
and well designed addition to our spectacular collection of Old

Like all prized possessions, it takes a bit of effort to attain the
satisfaction of experiencing villa Agriada's not
inconsiderable charms. The steep incline of the driveway should be
regarded
as a paltry token in exchange for
views, normally reserved for those with wings ! A contemporary and
modern

exposed stone walls, leather and hardwood, creating a clean, bright

relaxing ambience. The unique,
crescent shape of the building allows almost every room to enjoy
breathtaking views, that stretch out over the
